Collections vs individual bites

When submitting content to Glow, you can publish a bite as a standalone piece, or group multiple bites together into a collection. Here's what each means and how to decide.

Individual bite

A single, self-contained piece of content — a podcast, video, or writeup that stands on its own. Good for one-off topics, news pieces, or introductory content that doesn't need to be part of a series.

Collection

A collection is a curated playlist of multiple bites grouped under a shared theme. Learners see all the bites together and can work through them in sequence — similar to a short course or a series.

Each collection shows the number of bites and any due date. Clicking into a collection reveals all the bites inside, each with its title and author — learners can work through them in order.

If you have a series of related bites planned, submit them as a collection to give learners structure and context. If you have a single standalone piece, submit it as an individual bite.
